BOOSTER Festival at Sickhouse
On April 18, Sickhouse becomes one of the stages of BOOSTER that turns the city into a playground for new music.
Booster Festival is the showcase festival of East Netherlands. Musical talent from Overijssel and Gelderland will have the opportunity to present themselves to the music industry in the Netherlands.
Every year, Booster brings together dozens of emerging artists performing across multiple venues, presenting the most exciting new sounds from the east of the Netherlands to audiences and music professionals alike. Expect a night full raw energy, and fresh talent pushing music forward.

Einder - No barbie - Warda - Nelles - Peanut Butter Goldfish - Nomads Radio
Einder is the name of the musical adventure that Janko Bartelink and Danny Jeroense (alias Doolcirkel) have embarked on together. Through live improvisation, new, temporary soundscapes are created time and again, taking the audience on a journey through contrasting atmospheres.
No Barbie creates ambient and experimental soundscapes. With the field recordings frequently found in her work, you soon can imagine yourself somewhere far away, yet still close by. She keeps it small but you might will feel totally immerse.
Warda makes electronic lo-fi pop that whispers rather than speaks. Self-produced in a bedroom studio with little more than a laptop and synth, their sound floats between analog noise and digital textures – inspired by artists like PinkPantheress, Oklou, and Men I Trust.
Nelles is melancholic, honest, and harder than ever before. The young adult band from Enschede tells bittersweet stories of lost loves, shattered self-images, and an escape into oblivion. With influences from alternative rock, shoegaze, and indie pop, raw guitars blend with dreamy synth layers and sultry vocals into a sound that is both comforting and confronting.
Peanut Butter Goldfish

Peanut Butter Goldfish combines experimental garage punk with theater. Their stories are raw and unfiltered, with a dark, intense, yet hopeful and danceable energy. One moment you feel like a destructive madman and a possessed
dancer, only to crash down again as a fragile human being.
Nomads Radio
Nomads Radio is a three-headed whirlwind of surf and garage punk, anchored in poppy hooks and lyrics that balance personal anxieties and everyday absurdities. Think of the raw, melodic songs of Ty Segall and the untamable energy of Osees.
