Making games and interactive stories is not that complex at it seems. The internet is full of projects aiming to smooth the transition from 

. These tools are often small, experimental, and with limited capabilities. Similarly as early game developers faced very strong hardware limitations, these tools offer us a limited development environment in which we can create our games. The best part? There are a lot of them for which you won't even need to code!

In the upcoming edition of COLLIDERS we will be showcasing a few games made with the so called 

. But if you are curious to make a game with one of these tools you might consider also coming to the 

 (maybe you manage to make something to showcase on the open screens?).

They haven't programmed for five years and for this project they picked it again. They explored game engines not to make standalone games but to add interactivity to their artworks. Come to hear more about their approach to playful art!

Chloé is a media artist and curator specializing in deviant experimental games, with a focus on collective practices rooted in techno-feminism. In this presentation they will tell us more about their stay at Sickhouse and what are they working on.

COLLIDERS: Playful Makers Meet-up


To hell with boring-ass brainrot scrolling on Instagram, let’s handcode our own sites again, filled with cool pictures, funny texts and cute games. Did you know that’s really easy??

Every month, we get together at .zip to work on our personal sites with HTML, CSS and Javascript. When we get stuck on difficult coding challenges, we have each other to help out. At the end of the night, we’ll show off our pages, and join each other’s ‘webrings’.
