
The Ultimate IndieMash (formerly known as Sickhouse Eurogaming) is a playful contest for unique makers from all over the world + a show for online & onsite spectators.

We are moving away from a competition of nations and inviting participants from all the globe to embrace community representation and focus on playfulness. Fear not, we are definitely keeping the kitsch and celebratory vibe!

Hosted live from the Vestzaktheater in Enschede, and streamed all over the world, will have a show full of glitter, live music and of course the presentation of the contesting projects! 

Participants will get 3 minutes each to show their game, interactive project, immersive installation or playful performance. At the end of the show, the public and a jury of professionals will vote for their favourite project. The winner receives the Sickest Trophy and gets a spot at The Overkill Festival 2024!

If you are interested in playful culture and you are in Enschede, NL, don't hesitate to attend the Vestzaktheater on May 18 to see the show live! Not only are we looking for the most original, extravagant and alternative playful concepts, The Ultimate IndieMash is also a celebration of diversity within the indie-game community.

Rafaele's passion for music composition and performance led her to develop her own string-based instrument, Knurl. Through Knurl, she has performed at prestigious venues across Latin America and Europe.

Ultimate IndieMash

Join a team of painters on their journey to capture landscapes "en plein air" in this tabletop role play game, specially created for this collaboration of Sickhouse with the Rijksmuseum Twenthe.

As a group of aspiring artists, you will explore a series of landscapes painted 

. During the game, you will each take a turn painting a scene while exploring a specific question or theme, then you will play out a short story within the created landscape to form a scene. You cannot lose this game; the goal is to create a story together!

This event is the first of many collaborations to come between the Rijksmuseum Twenthe and the Sickhouse Tabletop Tour. Our regular sessions, workshops, and special events are back and we hope you once again join us to delve into all sorts of adventures! 

The tables will be located in Sickhoes, the farmhouse in the back garden of the Rijksmuseum, and in the atelier room as well.

This game was created by Linda Poppe, a Dutch software developer and tabletop RPG enthusiast residing in Enschede. She is an organisation member of and (co-)writer for the TTRPG event and community Enschedend (see enschedend.nl). Her stories often feature primeval nature and fantastical characters.

 is a professional Game maker Meet-up , welcoming any creative, regardless of the engine you are working in. At 

 we talk, present, introduce, give feedback and enjoy creations and ideas and we play. 

 is developing a local network for the indie/ arthouse /serious game industry in the east of the Netherlands. With Colliders, we want to support each other and create more opportunities for collaborations and exchange. The meet ups are open to makers, enthusiasts, producers, artists, curators etc...
