In the last 2 months the students of CMGT have been busy working on creating games related to the theme of The Overkill 2023 "The outburst of the digital swamp". 

In groups they've developing original scenarios, gameplay and mechanics. We are very proud to exhibit the results at Sickhouse.

Join us to celebrate their work and play the games. 

A jury of professionals will help us select the best fit for the festival and the public is invited to vote for their favourite. With Zuraida Buter, Pablo San Gregorio and Thomas de Groot.

The public prize will be announced Sunday at 16.00 with a toast!.

Thursday is the soft opening for the students and their guests.

The exhibition is open to the public (you all get to choose your favourite, by adding a sticker to the name board of your favourite project).

CMGT Games Showcase

Chupame El Dedo (suck my finger), is a collaboration between the Colombian bands Meridian Brothers and Romperayo, or to be more precise, between Eblis Alvarez and Pedro Ojeda respectively.

It was created for a one off live performance commissioned by the House of World Cultures in Berlin, for the Festival “Evil Music” in October 2013.
Because of the success the band still exists today.

The first album was released in 2016 on Discrepant Records. Weird distorted voices, rock and electronics are mixed with a tropical rhythm section made of salsa, cumbia, currulao & reggaeton. Second album :No Te Metas Con Satan" dates from 2019. Recently they released their awesome new 7inch single called "Mi Rehabilitación".

Expect tropical disoriented madness, stylistic dislocation and curious sounds. Head banging mojitos!
