 is back and this is the right excuse to gather our community, start the year with a lot of creative energy and introduce the studio selected for SickProd 2025! 
On Friday 24th the kick-off will be a Colliders meet-up with a few updates and presentations, and soon after we will start jamming!

Our location (GrensFrequentie) will be open over 3 days for the jammers to work, meet and learn from each other. The trash arcades will be there for participants to play and challenge each other. 





PROGRAM :
We will start on Friday after Colliders with the theme reveal. Saturday morning we host a few workshops to learn how to use different game engines. Saturday afternoon we work in teams. Saturday evening we have a first test session with the groups that want feedback. Sunday is the day to finalise all projects. Public presentations are hosted at 16:00!

A game jam is similar to a hackathon, where people come together for a short period of time to create games around a central theme revealed at the start of the jam. The structure of The GGJ is usually that everyone gathers on Friday late afternoon, watches a short video keynote with advice from leading game developers, and then a secret theme is announced. All jammers worldwide are then challenged to make games based on that same theme, with games to be completed by Sunday afternoon.

Following a central theme, the festival tells a story, linking one piece to another and inviting visitors to engage with multiple worlds. Besides, it serves as a space to play, meet, experience, share and collaborate.

, exploring the role of playfulness in activism and the empowering aspects of joy and pleasure in resistance movements. The event is curated by Marie Janin and Aike Lütkemöller from Sickhouse, alongside playful curator Zuraida Buter and artist-researcher Erik Peters.

Join us for the festive opening on Thursday, November 21st, at 18:00 in Enschede, featuring a performance of LASTESIS collective.
