For the sixth iteration of the video program in Sickhoes, Sickhouse selected 3 new videos inspired by the work of artist Philip Vermeulen, exhibited in the museum. Inspired by his research about perception, this new iteration is an audio visual wandering in between digital and physical non tangible spaces. The videos presented take us into liminal worlds, that could exist in our physical space, that could be seen when in a certain state of focus, that could be felt when carefully listening.

 revolves around the idea of juxtapositioning fundamental elements of sound and image. Van den Broek is fascinated by how the interference that occurs in image and sound manipulate our senses and perception of spatiality in the flat surface of the screen in relation to the sound waves that occupy the space.

This video is a journey through liminal spaces within a computer-generated reality, similar to a video game but without any specific tasks or goals. The world was built as an assemblage of soulless structures without an indication of time or context.

Our regular Tabletop Game Nights are back!

The weather is better and in these warmer months we can stay at the Sickhoes Inn.
These evenings are open to all people who love tabletop games, such as board games, card games, dice games, miniature strategy games, tile-based games, or role-playing games like DnD.

Bring your favorite game or come and discover the Sickhouse stock.

Are you new to tabletop games or are you a master player? Both are perfect! Sickhouse is a safe environment for you to get the hang of it and find which games you like the best.

Sickhoes is a former farmhouse in the backyard of the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, and it has the perfect ambience for adventure games.

If you are a Game Master, come and guide our players through the adventures of your choice. Experienced or novice as GM, we invite you to test your skills and have a lot of fun.

 is a professional Game maker Meet-up , welcoming any creative, regardless of the engine you are working in. At 

 we talk, present, introduce, give feedback and enjoy creations and ideas and we play.

 is developing a local network for the indie/ arthouse /serious game industry in the east of the Netherlands. With Colliders, we want to support each other and create more opportunities for collaborations and exchange. The meet ups are open to makers, enthusiasts, producers, artists, curators etc...

This month, 3 groups of CMGT Saxion studets will present game projects they created inspired by the theme of The Overkill " RADICAL - JOY - RESISTANCE". We are very proud and happy to welcome them at the meet-up.
